Tools - Audit Log

Purpose

With Audit Logging, SBC offers a possibility to log and inform about important events occurring at regular operations. It doesn’t contain any data about unexpected application behaviour.

All audit log entries contained in the SBC database are displayed in a paginated grid view. The overview page supports functionality like edit and view audit log objects just by clicking on the respective icons. Columns available in the audit log overview page are:

• Modified Time
• Modified By
• Category
• Event
• Object
• Description
• Sales Organization
• Dealer
• Edit

Search is related to all of them except for the Edit one. This allows administrators to edit features related to the object of the Audit Log entry. The edit option is available for all logged Events except if the related object has been deleted.

Supported Events

Audit Logging activity happens in the following action scenarios:

Category: Subscription

• Create pending/active subscription
• Modify pending/active subscription
• Create user having auto subscription
• Create subscriptions using subscription order wizard
• Create/Modify group subscription
• Delete user groups having active group subscriptions
• Adding/Removing of members in user group who are having subscriptions
• Region added/removed to subscription
• Consumption limit exceeded
• Subscription period expired
• Renew subscription
• Quota counter reset/not reset

Category: User

• Create pending/active user
• Activate user (Modify pending to active)
• Modify user details
• Delete user
• Add user to/delete user from Sales Organization

Category: Configuration

• Modify Audit log retention
• Modify Hostname of Spider User Connection Log Server

Category: Article

• Create article
• Modify article details
• Delete article
• Modify subscription period
• Modify consumption limit
• Modify pricing
• Add new product to article
• Remove existing product from article

Category: Maintenance

• Upload/Delete ERP System Data file (not yet officially released)

• Create/Fail to create new subscription

Category: X-pos

• Change root path of X-pos data repository
• Change Private hostname of X-pos Server

Category: Enterprise Subscriptions (SmartNet only)

• Create/Remove an Enterprise Subscription

• Enterprise Subscription has expired - in case subscription period expires
• Create/Remove/Modify an Enterprise Subscription Consumer
