Products

Purpose

Users are allowed to receive particular data streams or services once the authentication check is successfully passed. As the smallest instance Products are building the data basis of articles and in this way also of the service data management.

Through the Products tab on SBC Admin portal, two views are available:

GNSS Spider Products are directly related to the configuration on the Network Server.

Various Types includes three types of products. They are GNSS Spider Status, X-pos and Customized Products. All these are displayed together in one overview. Product details are the same for all the three, only the possibilities regarding modification and deletion are different.

GNSS Spider

Lists all RT-Products configured on Network Servers that are connected to SBC. The list updates automatically once changes are made on the RT-Products or when new RT-Products are created. It is possible to delete these products, but it is not possible to change product details in SBC.

Deleting RT-Products in SBC does not affect their existence on a Network Server.

Supported states

The following RT-Product states are supported by SBC

ACTIVE, indicated by . RT Product is activated in GNSS Spider product and is able to provide data.
INACTIVE, indicated by . RT-Product is not activated in GNSS Spider, data distribution is not possible.
DELETED, indicated by . RT-Product is already deleted in GNSS Spider but still available in the SBC database.

Supported Details of Spider RT-Products

All parameters that can be configured for a RT-Product on the Spider Network server are also shown in SBC.

Parameter Description
Network server Hostname of the GNSS Spider network server on which the RT-Product is configured.
Net name The network name as configured in GNSS Spider.
Product name The name of the RT product as configured on the Network server.
RT-Product type The RT product type (Single Site, Nearest Site, Single Cell, Automatic Cell, NMEA redirect).
Site, Cell or Rover name The name of the site for Single Site products or, the name of the cell for Single Cell products.
Data channel The data channel used to send the RT product, data stream (e.g. access Router).
Authentication The type of authentication required for the user to access the data stream (e.g. Phone number).
Max distance
providing corrections [km]
The maximum distance which a rover user can, travel from a site. If selected, a check is performed and if the rover user is at a greater distance than the configured setting, they will not receive any corrections.
Re-check if rover moves more than [m] If a rover user moves more than the configured settings, GNSS Spider will recheck the site or cell used for the correction calculation. This setting prevents the reference station continuously switching back and forth between reference stations when the rover is equally distanced between them.
Fall-back on network off Enables a fall-back to a Single site if the current network quality (number of fixed satellites) is not good enough to provide reliable corrections and the Single site solution provides more benefits (in terms of the number of available tracked satellites) to the rover user.
Fall-back on distance [m] Enables a fall-back to a Single site if the current distance between the rover position and the master site is shorter than the threshold. Within this distance a nearest site solution is assumed to better suit the rover needs compared to a Network RTK solution.
Send null antenna Indicates if corrections for this real time product are reduced to the ARP of the reference station antenna. If this is the case, the rovers must choose NULLANTENNA as the reference station antenna. This option is forced for all network correction data (MAX, iMAX, Virtual RS and FKP) and Nearest Site.
Code smoothing Indicated if code smoothing is activated for the RT Product.
Format The RTK message format.
GNSS The satellite system. GPS or GPS and GLONASS.
Coordinate system The target coordinate system that is sent to the rover. The parameters of the coordinate system can be used at the rover to convert/transform the measured data to local coordinates.
RTK Proxy Server Hostname of the GNSS Spider RTK Proxy server that is configured on the network server to provide real-time data streams.
TCP port Only shown if configured for the RT product.
Mount point Only shown for the RT products that are configured as NTRIP.
Edit a GNSS Spider Product Click on icon in the GNSS Spider product to assign or unassign an article from the GNSS Spider Product.
Assign an Article to a GNSS Spider Product Click on icon on top right of the articles tab in GNSS spider product add/edit pages. “Select Articles” to open the list of all Articles. Select one single or multiple articles and press “Close” to finish the selection. Press “Save & Close” or “Save” to store all entries to the database.
