The subscription order wizard allows SBC user to subscribe articles easily. It can be executed by logged on users but also by unregistered users once the shop is configured to be displayed on the SBC login page.
An SBC user who has already signed up can subscribe to an item in the Shop directly from their own SBC User portal.
If an item in the Shop is present to which the user has not yet subscribed, a “Subscribe Now” button is available: by clicking on this button, the “Order Article” form is visualized. Before being allowed to subscribe to the selected item, the Terms of Use must be accepted. Afterwards, the “Subscribe Now” button is made available. If clicked, it makes the order effective, while the subscription activation is normally responsibility of the service operator. If the user does not want to proceed in the purchase, it is possible to cancel it.
Users who would like to subscribe to a certain item can do so via the SBC login page, as long as the Shop is available. After clicking on the “Subscribe Now” button, a window pops up asking the user to either login or Sign Up. A link redirects to the guided Sign Up procedure, after which users are allowed to normally subscribe to the desired item. If any articles are enabled for automatic subscription, users are required to accept the Terms of Use to complete the Sign Up procedure.
Usually the resulting subscriptions will have pending status. The Administrator must activate the subscription manually so that users can use it and start consuming related real-time or RINEX data.
